Wow! My opinion is this, let him cut as many as he wants. Trees get in the way, trees drop limbs that somebody has to eventually pick up. You can't farm brush, or trees. Get rid of the trees (all of them) and make the land productive for something, corn/bean/milo field or pasture. Unless you sell the trees for lumber, or produce syrup, trees are useless and non-productive. Pretty easy to tell that I hate trees.
