Subject: RE: New to GPS

NC South Dakota
I have been more than happy with my Outback stuff.
Super reliable and great phone support when you need it.
My neighbors seem to call this "AMS guy" ALL THE TIME....... not sure what that is all about.

But now that I want a Planter monitor solution as well (adding variable rate to planter "JD7000" and VR fertilizer "Morris Air cart").
They just don't have anything that can do it all like John Deere or Agleader does. Well Their newest display is ISOBUS compatable, but that only works on the newest equipment.
So I wonder if their market share will ever grow.....

Would be nice if their newest monitor could run Agleader Modules.....

I just purchased and Incommand 1200 and several modules to run everything. (Advanced seed tube monitoring, Hyd variable rate on planter, Hyd variable rate on air cart, 3 bins)
Will be using the signal corrections off my Outback S3 with RTK to run it.

To smack 9
If I did it all over again TODAY i would just start out with Agleader since the equipment is good, Isn't overpriced (JD), and the Flexibility of their display. You can buy the monitor, and seed tube monitoring this winter. Add steering and better signal correction at a later time.
