Central New York | FSA is checking loaned grain in bins like crazy... they have their radar up big time. This I have from a friend on the board here. Starting to hear from a good friend on the farm credit board that they are freaked big time here in the east. Dairy industry is a mess and they over extended to them. I told him 3 years ago when they poured money to them that they were going to get someone in trouble. I started farming in 1980 and watched that debacle unfold and they are going to do it again. They just don't learn. Financial consultant I know to agriculture says he has multiple large farms over 10,000 acres who are shut off by their lender and can't repay to coop from the extension they got there. This gentleman is just the beginning of this debacle | |
