I would say most guys in our area made a little money this year.
Record bean yields, good basis, decent Arc Co payments all helped. Beans were a big money maker for our area this year and corn was probably close to break even.
However, I don't necessarily think it an income type situation. Some guys have to have a LOT of income to service their debts.
