Sat, how do you prepare the lutfisk? I am 1/2 Swedish and we always had lutfisk on Christmas eve. I always thought it was punishment for being Vikings in the past. ;-)
Seriously, our lutfisk preparation needs to change if it is to remain a Christmas tradition.
I'm 100% blonde headed Swede and not a fan of Lutefisk, especially on Christmas.
Portatis Korv sausage, Risgrynsgröt (Rice Pudding) washed down with hot glasses of Glogg makes for good eats.
If you are really up for an intestinal challenge and bragging rights, try a bit of surströmming (Fermented herring) with some thin bread. Good luck!
