I don't think one year is enough. That will work for framing or flooring or general use. But on trim or cabinets I think you will still get movement. Something about several seasonal cycles of temperature and humidity makes the lumber more stable. I have done a fair amount of building in my house and barn with wood seasoned for one year. It works but it definitely keeps moving for a while.
