Most will say the A/C side is better liked than the heat side. Recovery time on the heat side is slow so turn the temp down a lot and back up will trigger the backup electrical system to kick in to get back to the set temperature. It's colder than fossil fuel heat plain and simple.
Geo is very clean and cost efficient but consider some kind back up if the power goes out especially in the winter time if you live where its really cold. We have a wood backup heater in our walk out basement that doesn't need electricity for emergency heat if needed. A generator would also be an option. | |
