Just asking. They may be super dense 6 ft dia x 5 ft wide bales I guess.

On bale spears, I have had the best luck with the square cross section spears, usually come painted red.  I believe they come from Germany or Norway. They are tough and go into/come out of a dense bale more easily than a larger diameter round spear.

Be careful not to mix European spears with a metric taper (and usually a metric thread/nut) with an US/English taper socket on the frame.

The tapers are just a little different and the wrong taper spear in the wrong taper socket will never stay tight and may in fact come loose and/or break.
