will a 915 hydro interchange with a 1460?

I have no actual experience with that swap, but I believe I have seen it posted that 915 /to 1420 is the same, but 1460-1480 is a bigger unit.

I have done a swap from Sunstrand to Eaton hydro drive on a 1480. The first few years of the 14 series used Sunstrand, with all later ones using Eaton. The Eaton is a much more powerful and more reliable unit. The lines (oil tank to hydro and oil cooler to hydro pump were different size, so had to make adapters) the high pressure lines from pump to motor, I seem to remember , did fit.
If you swap, keep the pump and motor as a matched pair, don't mix units or brands.
