Central-ish KY | I had a '97 12 valve automatic for several years. My electric shutoff solenoid went out and I just replaced with a manual cable. It worked out well for the winter time. I could start my truck, take the keys out and walk away. If I forgot to lock the doors it didn't matter. With the key switch in the off position, the steering wheel was locked and you couldn't take it out of park. I miss that truck at times. If it was a manual, I'd probably still have it. | |
