ND
Bought a used combine a 9500 with CM & RWD, the header of course because it was a package deal coming with the combine a 925 flex, our land is flat pancake flat land in the RRV of the North, traded Flex heads for a 2001 925F with full finger a very good addition but the header did not have sensors for CM, could tell what is was not doing -not getting all the beans -it was missing a lot of beans on FLAT flat ground. Next yr ordered wiring harness that cost $1500. CM makes a big difference even on a 925 head-you need it. When these combines were new the add cost was around $4000 for CM on the combine itself & RWD was around $18000. There is a difference in JD RWD with the size of the Hubs on the RWD either 1200CC or 1600CC depending on what the combine is or which one it can handle. Would not consider being without CM in flat land even with a 920F. RWD is an added insurance for super wet conditions which for 2 yrs up here we had.
