NC Iowa | honda pioneer 500 with the 475cc engine. about 1.5 years old and 1000 miles. solenoid clicks but starter doesn't engage. is this an issue with honda engines? . not sure if it is the starter or solenoid contacts. called the dealer and he said it is not a common problem. could be the starter brushes. just don't put a booster on it as could damage the ecm. the battery is good, even tried jumping it to be sure pretty new machine for issues like this. anyone familiar with honda starters to point me to what to check first? | |
