Usually the red tail hawks are lined up to get rabbits and mice. This year however very few hawks and even those are not interested in what the combine flushes out. Always interesting to see if the rabbit can out-dodge the fast hawks, but have not seen a single confrontation this year. Did see an eagle grab a quick lunch though--eagles are rare here.
