We all knew that $1.40 fats were bad long term for business while we were cashing the checks. I think the speed of the collapse is what has people upset. I expect things to rebound a bunch once the bulk of the calves move into the feedlots as I believe the recent down trend has as much to do with the need to get stockers cheaper than anything else.
