Not much you can do about it other than letting the plants dry out a bit. What happens is the shelled kernels will stick to the wet residue going through the machine and get thrown out the back of the rotor. The screen loss also gets worse as wet residue starts to cover the screens. I also think that head shelling gets much worse when things get wet like that too.

Sometimes you need to keep going but you'll have to find a balance between the loss and the value of keeping things moving.

This is not brand specific either, they all do it the same.
