Altoona, WI | There were three boats. Two pontoons and one speed boat. All three attached to docks. One pontoon made it through in tact. One ended up capsized. Don't know how the speed boat fared. The river was running so deep that there wasn't really much of a drop as they went through.
A large tree went through that dam as well. It tore one of the gates out and ruined a catwalk along the top of the dam. Kind of a shame as that dam is only a few years old, replacing an older one in the same place. | |
