Anderson County Kansas | We didn't do any side by sides this year, we got tired of them costing us money. The number we mainly plant doesn't have a very good disease package, but if sprayed it will yield really well. There is a lot of it planted here, and we had neighbors plantiing it across the road, and right next to us on the same day we were planting. Ours has been making 15 to 25 bushel better then theirs. It stayed green a lot longer, and also stayed wetter so we couldn't start harvesting as quick. ( several days). Even now our stalks still have the tops all in them and have a gold color instead of the tops broke out and a black color like what wasn't sprayed. Our ears didn't turn down as good either, which had me a little concerned, but I haven't noticed any sprouts yet. | |
