| We shared labor and equipment at the time. Now he sits in the porch swing and laughs at his sucker son trying to make a go farming (that's sarcastic-he did retire and rent me his ground/equipment).
Dad and I get along great as long as we don't work together. Too different. I have a ton of respect and appreciation that he retired so I didn't have to work full time and we wouldn't be at each other's throats all the time.
To answer your question, we knew enough not to go into something like that together, we'd never agree on anything other than a buyout. | |
