C IL | +1. The first glacier (Illinoian) stopped north of Shawnee National Forest. There are places in southern IL that are a couple inches down to bedrock, where it is not woods and ravines or floodplain. Cattle country where there is water. As an aside, Worked with Super nice folks there.
The second glacier stopped at Rt 16 in IL. Wisconsin glaciation black prairie soil north of that line. Illinoian glaciation clay/clay loam south of that line down to Shawnee. | |
