Garland Maine | Gallons depend on how much you want to take apart. If your nozzle bodies have check valves unscrew them and toss em in a box til spring, that will drain most of the liquid out of the booms. Take apart hoses anywhere else that you can, just follow each length of hose to see where it would hold water and drain it. Pull the drain plug on the bottom of the pump, etc. Once you drain all the water out a few gallons of RV antifreeze is good insurance for valves and such. Remember that ball valves will hold liquid in the middle of the ball when closed, and that will split the valve unless it is mostly RV.
The tank rinse circuit and the tank agitation circuit are the most often overlooked in my experience. | |
