Wallis, TX | Had a 710B years ago. That thing would lift a lot with the loader or the backhoe. But,,,,, it was HEAVY and always getting stuck or cutting deep ruts. Lastly it had a full PS tranny, not torque convertor (this may not be the case on the D) and was not easy on the tranny or clutch packs when using the loader. IMHO it belongs on pavement or rock with a hammer on it. Now running a Cat 416C, IT loader. Rated breakout is 12K, will lift a 12R30 corn head on the forks. (Had to extend the hoe all the way back to keep the rear wheels on the ground and the front tires were almost flat but it did it). This is a much more 'usable' machine around the farm, even though it is a lot heavier than a comparable Case machine. My $.02 and worth what you paid for it!!!!! |
