It's been said on here that the case Ih flagships capacity really goes down in high moisture corn. What's the limiting factor? Horsepower? Grain loss? Something else?

For us it was grain loss. In corn 25% or over our flagship (7010 or 7120) combines REALLY stuggled. We were under 3mph with an 8 row head in 200 bu corn.

Had to get down under 20% before we felt it did a nice job, but still had inconsistent losses.

Its been five years now so i cant remember many more details. But its the reason we switched combines, i do remember that much!
