St-Eugene, Ontario | What make and model is the 12'? And is that 95hp engine or pto hp on your tractor? We used to have a case 8312 12 ft center pivot roller conditioner discbine and we used a new holland ts110 (90 hp pto) to pull it. It toyed with it, even went up to 10-12 mph in smooth fields in waist high alfalfa. We upgraded to a 13ft nh 7450 also roller conditioner thinking there would be very little difference in hp requirements, wrong!!! Had to change tractor, were down to 3-4 mph with new discbine! Now we have a new holland t6030 which is rated at 95 pto hp but has 6 cylinder that actually puts out ~115 hp at pto according to tractor data. It toys with the 7450. | |
