If a person puts narrow tires on the magnum. The tires can be moved out (wider tread) and not be wider than the rears. This allows the front tires to be rotated to a tighter angle, tighter turning radius.
The truning radius with 12.4 tires (tread 66") (30" rows)would be the same as 18.4 tires (tread 72") (36"rows).
