Lexington, KY | I apologize if this has been covered, but I have been unable to find it. Also I know it is impossible to reproduce sounds in type, but here goes.
I have a side console 4020.
With the pto engaged there is chattering that seems to come from the bellhousing area. The sound goes away with any use of hydraulic function (ie turning the steering wheel, raising or lowering the lift, using remotes) but returns as soon as whatever function has completed such as after the wheel quits turning.
It seems less pronounced with the clutch pedal down, but only goes away when using hydraulics.
All the hydraulic functions work fine.
any ideas would be great.
tractor has 7xxx hours. Filters and fluid are new. Suction screen behind filter is clean.
