Subject: Mounting planter row unit gauge wheel tires? Any tricks?

north west arkansas

I got new planter unit gauge wheel tires and the are a good 3/4" to small. They are saying I got the correct tire and need to heat them and press them on. This sounds easier said then done. Any tricks to mounting them? It's on a john Deere 1760.
