Faunsdale, AL | Not possible to return to filter or direct to sump. The drill has to have both hoses hooked to the SCV so it can have pressure oil for both raising the openers and applying down pressure.
Returning oil to the charge pump circuit is a technique that works well for hydraulic motors or remote valves (loader valve for example). I think the SCV's on a 40 series return oil to the charge pump circuit so no need to use a ported filter cover. | |
