| when spreading with urea it seems to be throwing some forward I can see it bouncing off the drive tire. it just doesn t seem right. my question is can the spreaders turn backwards. it is hyd. driven but when i switch the hoses at the tractor the spreader does not turn. anyone have experience with one of these machines. what direction are the spinners suppose to turn. this is a coop machine |

Auxvasse, MO | ask the Coop if they pan tested it.look at the cup of the fan blades should be hitting inside the cup I have hyd spinners on a different brand that will run backwards . You should look to see where the fert hits the fan the guide or divider may need to be moved forward or back. |

Central Iowa | Have a 800 at the coop I work at it has a 60ft spread I think our fan speed is set at 600 if you have a monitor that reads that also off the top of my head without looking at it I think the valve on the hitch for the fans is set around 3.25. If it is a coop spreader your renting then it should be calibrated for product and also pan checked something you might want to ask them.
