Texas | Hey guys. Lots of people have told me the best way to clean out a spray rig is to fill it with water, fog nh3 vapor into it, run it out the booms until it smells of amonia on the end nozzles and then dump it.
I've heard claims of Spraying 24d/dicamba and then getting clean enough for cotton in 30 minutes time.
Anyways, nh3 is not popular in my area, but I'm wondering if anyone uses this method and if anyone knows if there is a possible/safe way to convert a medium size propane tank to maybe safely store some for sprayer clean up. I assume it wouldn't take much to do it, a 100gal tank may last several years. Or maybe a small nh3 vessel is in existence. | |
