We went to the stripper head strictly because of double cropping beans.  In heavy straw behind 80-90 bushel wheat, we could not get a stand.  With all the straw left standing, there are no hair pinning problems and it is much easier to get a stand.  These are pictures of the beans coming up after the Stripper head.

Even in the wheel tracks you can get a stand following the stripper.
