Hillsboro, AL | Most our your footing has to be under your posts. They support the weight. You might want a little bit of footing under the walls, but it will not take that much. You can use a stem wall, but your post will have to be on top of it. Enlarging the door openings should be no problem. You may need a larger header, but that would be all.
