Bellevue, Iowa | We have an IVT 6170R that we use for a feedwagon tractor. Other than the tier 4 emissions junk, it's been okay with 5000 hours. Last week we had to put a new air conditioner compressor on it. That was a little disappointing. Back to the emissions, it is on it's third turbo charger. Issues have to do with the IVT causing it to run at a constant low rpm making the actuator in the Turbo to wear itself out. Thus 3 turbos. So far, John Deere has helped on the turbos, as they know they have a problem. I'm not optimistic that will last forever, though. | |
