NE ND | I demoed a 30' out of Hoople two years ago pulled with my JD 9630. Ran it in soils west of Park River. 10 mph was possible. Could it do 37'...........probably. A good depth may make it groan though. 10 mph unless a real smooth field isn't something I'd want to tackle for 16 hrs straight. It didn't do well in rocks for me. A small rock would get jammed between the notched blade and the gang and within seconds you were plugged up with a huge pile of dirt. Then you had to beat the rock out. In the valley it would be a superb tool. Left field perfect. I not tilled beans straight into it next spring as it was very smooth. At 8-10 mph make sure you fill the service unit in your pickup. It will make anything drink serious fuel. | |
