How about mixing it with pel lime and set the gate at 1" wide on the spreader and double spread the field. Add in some common grass seed or oats or wheat even to atleast give you something out there.
The Nrcs won't pay for the pel lime or the other seed but you can get your acres covered and vt or harrow it in. That'll get as good of a stand as an old drill IMO.
