I'm with kmech on this one. Kinze is wright on using a grade 5. Grade 8 is to hard and will shear easier. I think it would take a long time to be a problem if it's tight.


So is CIH wrong using two grade 8's??? Doubt it. Kinze is wrong in their spec and design. I have know this guy for 30 years and told him all those blue planters he sees rolling around get towed by this bolt and have the same problem of distortion by the threads he was shocked. He has been in the hardware business for that or longer and deals with large corporations and knows his crap.
