I have a 60' boom sprayer currently thinking I might want to go to a 90' boom maybe this year yet if I can find the right deal or for next year, I've found some fast sprayers with 80' booms, does anyone know if I could just buy the ends and make an 80' a 90' easily and not real expensive? Also how expensive is borax to buy for a pull type sprayer? Also I know this question has probably been asked but I farm around 1400 acres as far as 25 miles from home, am I better off buying a self propelled?

How new of Fast sprayers are you looking at? Do you happen to know the model numbers? Landon.B is correct that on newer Fast sprayers the best way to change from 80' to 90' is to change to a longer flip or swing wing. The breakaways on both 80' & 90' are the same length. If a 5' extension is added to the breakaway to convert from 80' to 90' there can be issues with the breakaway clutch not being able to handle the weight.
