Subject: RE: Dixie Chopper

NW Iowa. / SW Arizona
This is my 10th year now for my Silver Eagle 60", bought it new. I've replaced he center deck bearing once maybe 4-5 years ago. Replaced the rear tires last year. I think I'm on my third battery. I've been impressed with it's performance overall.

If you keep the blades sharp and clean the under deck of clippings buildup you can really zip along. We have a large yard with a lot of trees plus we mow around my hog finisher a 1/4 mile from our residence. I can do all our mowing in less then 2 1/2 hours. Since my wife retired from her town job a year ago she does almost all the mowing now, it takes her about 3 hours. She enjoys mowing and has expanded the area we mow last year which is part of the reason it takes her that long plus she doesn't mow as fast as I do. They used to advertise it as the worlds fastest mower, don't know if that claim is still true or not but it is fast.
