Heres what it looked like after the planter pass where it was planted into 22 inch tall volunteer rye that is in the beginning boot stage. This was rye last year that was harvested for grain, so there is rye residue also. The row cleaners were in the float position and spoked closing wheels were used along with drag chains. The pictures shows where i set up the temperature sensors.
