I can't believe anyone would let them put those in their fields!
I've found if the farmer is smart enough to speak up with ideas that are solid, their plans change. Get them cornered with a 30+ year heavy equipment operator and someone educated in soils/erosion, and THEY start asking questions. A year later you'll get to hear, "Those are the best set of terraces I've ever laid out"... Oh really, what happened to the plans you had for 23 ignorantly shaped half moon pond damns you wanted to smear all over this place a year ago??
