Franklinton, LA | Once upon a time for about 25 years I was an extension ag engineer in LA. We often had visitors from developing countries visit and tour our research stations. I kept telling our administrators that we should be taking them on tours of our massive agriculture support infrastructure. These privately owner businesses are really what makes our agricultural system so efficient and productive. Most of these people would find it difficult to believe these businesses were privately owned and they must compete against each other to stay in business. | |
