Once you get used to it you can, my only complaint is that the lever could use a little more "throw". You end up bracing your hand against the command arm and moving the lever with your wrist. If you set the max speed in the lower speed band below 2 or 2.5 mph the transmission defaults to creeper mode and does a good job of shuttling.
Is anyone using a JD w/IVT on grain cart?
