I don't like it either, but trying to be realistic and adjust. Carry-outs are projected to grow and we are starting with a comfortable supply from last years crop. Rallies, whether they are weather or "short covering" will likely be more tempered with the numbers we were given yesterday. We just simply have more cushion in our corn supplies. And even if 1.5 to 2 million acres switch to beans, we still likely could be facing a 2 Billion carry-out. It makes me smile how most farmers are of the opinion that surely someone must be cutting back acres somewhere, but it is seldom themselves doing so. I don't claim to be a good marketer or have a lot of 16 crop sold, but I do remember where corn price was the last time carryout approached 2 billion.
