Morris, IL | We run 7720, a 6 row crop bean head is not out of the question if this pans out, already have a 6 row corn head. Nothing wrong with 5-6-5 but i hate to give up that many corn acres. Want to stay 50/50 in the field, endrows will probably be 60' of soybeans so i'm already giving that much up. Honestly i was thinking once ideal planter for this would be like a 1780, run 12 soybeans units in the middle at 15" spacing and 3 corn rows on each wing. Setup a JD 250 monitor for the soybeans and use my Integra for the corn rows, should be able to spilt the vacuum for the 3-12-3 setup i think. Just need a little planter to clean things up on each side of the field and maybe turn rows.
