| For all there is to know about standard chains and sprockets download section S from Baum Hydraulics http://www.baumhydraulics,com. From page S3, 40 and 41 chain is 1/2" pitch. 40 is 5/16" inside, 41 is 1/4" inside (between the plates), the 40 roller is 0.312 and the 41 roller is 0.306, so its very unlikely for a full sized 40 sprocket to accept 41 chain. McMaster-Carr probably has more chain sizes, but maybe not weld a hub sprockets. http://www.mcmaster.com
