Subject: RE: Deere fighting New Hampshire law that prevents closing dealerships without cause.

I do not believe the government should intervene in a companies decision to how they market or service their product and would like to think the free market will dictate the decisions.Deere makes good equipment but they literally have become too big for their britches and truly don't care about smaller operations. I grew tired of their mega-dealers smug attitudes and have changed my buying habits. There are other manufactures out there other than Deere who are making some very good equipment that will do the same job at a cheaper initial investment. It is easy for me say let them close the dealership and if I were in that area I would like to know who "others" were that joined the suite and try not to patronize their product as well. I don't believe the government should dictate this but let the consumers wallet dictate the outcome. If Deere wants to self destruct that is fine with me and in my opinion they already have in many locations where there are small operations and small dealerships were prevalent. I will find someone else to spend my money with but I don't want the government controlling the issue.

Just my thoughts and my opinions and I am sure I see things differently than many others. That is what makes life interesting!
