The Permatex Right Stuff is easy to use because the bolts are just tightened down and bottomed out so you don't have to worry about the torque like on a cork gasket but if you ever have to remove the pan again it will be sealed on tighter than if you use the gasket.
Nice thing about the rubber composit gaskets is they are easier to torque down that the cork and easier to remove most of the time. I still like using a gasket then use sealer around the bolt hoes.
