Had the same experience as you at the dealers filter sale. Doesn't make sense to me as it was the same number for 30 plus years and now they change it. It was one of the part numbers I had memorized and now its no good. Sometimes I wonder what Deere is up to at times.
CNH changes filter part numbers about every 6 months.
