Winkler, Manitoba Canada | What is the consensus on the value of the cork pan gasket versus using Permatex Right Stuff in this application. Typically I am inclined to do away with the gasket and just use Right Stuff as I have had very good results with that product. In this case the pan has slight ridges around the bolt holes to locate the cork gasket. The pan surface will not actually bolt up snug to the bottom of the block as the ridges will contact the block and flat areas will not. | |
