Subject: smaller CaseIH 4WD questions

Rivers, MB
Looking for a small 4WD for miscellaneous field work. Possibly grain cart, small disc/cultivator, heavy harrow, scraper, land roller etc. Had been thinking high hp MFWD but not liking the price tag. We are in no rush for this tractor so am being particular as to what we pick. $ exchange has been moving in our favor in the last month so am looking south of the border as well.

All green on the farm except for 2 quadtracs so used to the CNH dealer. Stuck on needing a PS so older JD 4WD not an option. 20 series too spendy for what we want to spend.

So looking at 9130-9230-9150-9250's. Few questions.

Found a 9150 that looks reasonable. Called a Wheatland Special. Anyone know what that referred to?

Found a few small frame ones referred to as steerable front axle or row crop special. Is this a problematic feature? Dad had 4490-4694's when I was a kid so am a bit aware as to the problems that the steerable axles could cause.

How much bulkier does a 9x50 feel compared to a 9x30? Noticeable difference looking at them. Is it noticeable when driving them?

Have been seeing some posts about difficulty finding parts for this style of tractor. How common is this parts issue? Bad enough to look for something else?

Thanks in advance.
