Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow | Santos loaded out a boatload of something (probably soybeans) to Argentina yesterday. Apparently the Argentine bean crushers don't mind crushing Brazilian beans. (Or maybe their crushers like to play games just like they do in the Southeast US with imported Brazilian corn).
I don't have any historic data but if there were so many early harvested soybeans to ship I'm not impressed with Brazil's export traffic. In a week when the US exports over a million metric tons and as cheap as beans are supposedly in Brazil they don't seem to be able to muster much more than 300,000 tons.
I suspect that the early dry cut into their early beans more than they want to say. Maybe things will get better as the month proceeds.
